back again
After weeks of abstinence, yesterday was my first day at Lobster Bay. Visibility was good, around 5 meters. There were less fish than expected, overall sea life was calmer. I expected the water to be slightly colder, so I brought a 3mm shorty, and felt very toasty. Only the sky was overcast, so I could not take any ambient light pictures. I wanted to go again today, but constant rain made it less attractive, and probably ruined visibility.
This cannot really give credit to the visibility, which was great.
The Marbled Rockfish has a visitor.
A Marbled Rockfish (Sebastiscus marmoratus), note the white spikes of the dorsal fins.
